Learn from our experts about the lost art of butchery and experience more than just chopping meat. Avedano’s classes are experiential— hands-on, hands-in working and learning forums designed with you, the home chef, in mind. Our goal is to provide useful and easy-to-understand information about specific foods and preparations. The informative and enjoyable classes will end with meaty snacks and an aperitivo. You will take home your goodies and a summary of what you learned for future reference.

BUTCHERY FOR ADULTS
Description: The goal of this intensive class is to teach you the specifics of the art of home butchery and grant you knife-wielding dominion over your kitchen. You will break down a lamb and a pig carcass. You will receive advanced butchery instruction to prepare you for the class and help you to classify cuts. We will provide cooking suggestions and tools to further develop your knife skills and techniques.

Each participant will receive lunch and at least $100 worth of meat to take home.

You will walk away with a lot of knowledge and a lot of meat.
